Any scale, on the owner’s side

Client-side advisory and review

For owners, development authorities, and clients who have appointed design teams and need senior technical judgement on their own side of the table.

This is the counterpart role to masterplanning: not producing the scheme, but holding it to account. Reviewing what is submitted, coordinating what is delivered, and keeping project intent intact as teams and phases change.

What the engagement covers

  • Technical counterpart to appointed consultantsA single senior point of contact who can read a submission at the level it was drawn
  • Structured submittal reviewThird-party submissions tested against regulatory requirements and prime-agreement standards, with findings written to be actionable rather than merely critical
  • Coordination across consultants and parcelsWhere multiple teams are working adjacent to one another and no one owns the seams
  • Workshop facilitation and decision-grade materialTurning open questions into options a client leadership can actually choose between
  • Continuity of intentThe institutional memory of why the masterplan is shaped the way it is, retained through staff and consultant turnover

Most recently a seven-month appointment on a live development programme, concluded in April 2026.

The value is asymmetric: a client who cannot interrogate a submittal at a technical level ends up approving it. One senior reviewer changes what gets built.
